FAQ
Common Inquiries
What do you supply for overnight boarding?
The owner needs to provide the food, treats, lead and tagged harness. We supply the rest to make it a more stress free drop off.
How can I check on my pet during their stay?
You can message us at anytime for an update on your fur baby. We normally send out daily pictures and updates at least once a day.
My pet has a special diet. Can their needs be accommodated?
Yes, we accommodate any diet that your pet is on. You provide their food and we will do the rest. This includes those on a raw diet.  We have fridge and freezer space dedicated to dog food.
Is a site visit necessary?
Yes, a site visit is necessary for both you to meet us and for us to assess suitability. It is necessary to book a day care in prior to boarding. Again for us to be able to ascertain the temperament of your dog with others. We find that for peace of mind most people like to do this and we welcome it. You have to remember that your dog does not know you will be coming back when you you leave them with us. So they can become anxious and they all react differently to this. Therefore it is good to give them time to understand this concept.
What size dogs do you cater for?
We are small breeds only. As a gauge we would say up to a Miniature Schnauzer in terms of sizing. This is because clients want to feel reassured that their fur baby is in similar sized company.
How often do you walk the dogs?
We normally walk the dogs according to their needs. This is dependant on weather for the dogs comfort but we do walk most days rain or shine. We also tailor walks around the needs of the individual dog(s) as some may not cope on long walks, the pace.  It is a case by case on how much walking they get.
Is it necessary for me to provide a harness?
Yes it is necessary that you bring your dogs with a properly fitted harness. The reason is for their safety and kinder for the dog to have these on when they are walked.
Do I need to provide a coat for my dog?
It is recommended to ensure your dog is brought with a relevant coat in times when the weather can be inclement for the safety and comfort of your dog. We do tend to walk in all weathers. During the summer when it is very hot it is also advisable to provide a cool vest for their comfort. Especially for the Brachycephalic breeds.
If my dog has special requirements, can you deal with this?
Yes, we actually specialise in the dogs with special needs. Â From those that have IVDD or surgeries to those that are elderly and need that extra special TLC. Â We cater for all including the blind or loss of hearing.
